As a show jumper, Riverman is careful and shows enormous power over the jumps. His sire Kenwood jumped at 1.40m with Jos Lansink. Volumnia’s dam line contains the great Ramiro Z. His performance as a sport horse and breeding sire earned him the titles 'Stallion of the Century' and ‘King of Sires’ and 7 of his sired offspring are currently ranked in the Top 100 of the World Breeding Federation of jumping.
