He has got it all: Three lovely paces with a super over tracking walk, an active forward trot and an uphill, exhilarating canter paired with a super temperament. He excels with his lateral work and is very supple with good crossing in his half passes, he also has a very expressive change and has mastered the beginning of sequence changes.
His Sire was Maestro a grand prix horse ridden by Dutch rider Karen Nijvelt, his sire was Contango won his performance test at Medingen in 1991 on a score of 146.48 – topping both the jumping and the dressage standings. Contango was trained to Grand Prix level by Els Janssen before being sold to the States where he combined a competition and breeding career. His Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother all earned very high jumping marks on their mare tests. Rhodium is a very well developed and extremely harmonious stallion that stands in a perfect rectangle. At his performance test the judges made the following comments: “Rhodium is a very well-modelled stallion that has a good forehand and strong upper line. His legs have lots of quality. His pace as well as his trot has natural wide space. Rhodium trots with lots of imprint and tact. When galloping we see the same good results as when trotting. The natural ability of Rhodium to become an excellent dressage horse is enormous.” He received 7 for walk, 8 for trot and 9 for canter and was judged sufficient over fences. Rhodium’s sire Olympic Ferro was the catalyst for the Netherland’s team silver Olympic win. Rhodium’s grand sire Le Mexico comes from some of the oldest and most successful jumping and performance bloodlines and traces back to Furioso. Easy’s grandsire on his mother’s side is Ferro; Much is expected of this charming, talented black stallion who achieved the title of "Keur" in 2000.
