This is a world class, dark bay 5 year old. Oldencraig Chicago is an outstanding young horse with 3 very good loose and eyecatching paces. She has got a great hind leg action which gives her natural uphill movements. Her sire is Westfalian premium stallion Downtown by Don Frederico out of a Wolkentanz I mare.
The elegant and impressive Don Frederico became Champion of the 1999 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing. This "eye-catcher" completed his stallion performance test as runner-up with an amazing score of 151.67 points in the dressage section. He also constantly improved his capabilities during the test, demonstrating his excellent mental qualities. Don Frederico convinces by his outstanding rideability and his very good basic gaits, which will impress all dressage riders. Oldencraig Chicago has already shown great potential making a breathtaking picture in the arena rewarding her with scores over 70%.
The judges love her and she is sure to have a future in the top of the sport. She is calm and confident and works happily for any level of rider. In regards to her talent, this would be a very rewarding project even for a less experienced rider to produce for the dressage competition arena because of her easy and willing nature. She is good in a trailer and horsebox, good to shoe, hacks alone or in company and jumps.
